Health and Safety Program Consultations

Consultation Process

Health and Safety creates new programs and reviews existing programs on a regular basis. This Program Consultation page aims to:

  • Describe the program consultation process and the annual schedule
  • Provide the opportunity for Joint Health and Safety Committee members and Area Health and Safety Officers to view proposed program amendments and/or drafts of new programs
  • Outline the steps to submit feedback to Health and Safety

Proposed program amendments or new programs that are considered to affect staff and faculty health, safety and wellbeing, will be posted for consultation purposes on the Program Consultation page for a 4-week time period. After the consultation period is over, the program will be removed, and feedback received will be reviewed for consideration before the program is finalized by the Health and Safety team. Final programs are to be promptly published on the Health and Safety YU Link and communicated as applicable to staff and faculty through their departments and faculties.

Health and Safety plans to issue the following Programs for consultation according to this schedule.  Please note that this schedule is subject to change based on University needs / initiatives.  Additional Programs may appear for consultation on an as needed basis.
